Football has two weeks to prepare for Colorado
The Cougars practiced hard after their 42-24 defeat at the hands of San Diego State. Head Coach Paul Wulff even called the team together in the middle of practice to deliver a fiery speech to the team.

Logan Mayes to burn red-shirt?
Cougar true freshman has been running with the second-team defense this past week, and Head Coach Paul Wulff said the son of Coug legend RB Reuben Mayes could see action this weekend against Colorado.

Cougars fall 42-24
The Cougars led for much of the game, but San Diego State's Ronnie Hillman was too much for the WSU defense as he erupted for 191 rushing yards and four touchdowns.
