Seattle Game Student Tickets
Wazzu student tickets are sold out for the "home game" in Century Link Field aka the CLink. This means any student who has a sports pass which costs $130 can gain entrance into every home free of charge after paying the one time fee. This includes getting into any "home" game, even if the game is played outside of the Palouse. These venues include Century Link, Key Arena, Spokane Arena, Martin, Beasley, and the various other home fields we have here in Pullman. Students tickets "sold out" on Wednesday afternoon meaning any student who had not picked up their hard copy of a ticket for the Wazzu game in Seattle must pay for a ticket, although the sports pass lists this game as a "home" game. This is one of the things I learned to love about Wazzu and make fun of all my Husky friends, the UW athletic department always screwed over their students when it came to tickets and seating and we always had the best. This makes me and other students I have talked to upset. CLink holds 67,000 compared to Martin Stadium's 36,000 and I would think that the Athletic Department would provide a student ticket to the game in Seattle for every student who paid for a sports pass. Many may say, "why did you wait to get them", as they have been on sale for two weeks now. It's not that I have intentionally held off, but rather would "assume" that after purchasing my HOME SEASON sports pass, I would be able get mine. As a student and speaking for my peers, I feel as though we've been sold out (pun intended, terrible I know) so the Athletic Department can get more money. Sorry for listening to my rant but Go Cougs! And on a positive note I think we are going to bash in OSU final score Wazzu 37 OSU 17.
